Sons of Anarchy- We’ve been grieving over a show for almost ten years now, ever since the last episode of Sons. We have missed the series every day. And we've seen it again and again. And we never get bored. The series started with the pilot episode on September 3, 2008, and ended after 92 episodes on December 9, 2014. We cried like babies at the end, for several reasons. And here we sit in June 2024, with tears in our eyes and reminiscing right now. We are rewatching the series for the sixth or seventh time. We know the lines by heart. but we laugh, we cry, we curse, we pray as much in round number seven as we do in round number one. ( I have to speak for myself here) But as I read all over the place, in SOME, I’m not alone I guess? We mourn, we love and we have so much respect for this show. ❤

Great wisdom and insight from Lindsay. Im so happy to realize she has also philosophically considered the deeper things in life. It is a profound revelation when you first comprehend that the world doesnt need to change for you to be happy, only you need to change. This change requires an understanding that how you are currently perceiving reality has been learned through positive and negative experience and formed an unconscious generalized attitude or mood towards others and life in general. It is this understanding and the reorientation that happens over time, the more you stay vigilant and conscious, this then has a profound effect on your chronic thinking and general unhappiness. We have a human tendency to super-impose our general sense of dissatisfaction onto the world and point the finger of blame, this only serves to make us bitter, resentful, unhappy and stuck. The world doesnt owe us happiness, instead, we owe it to ourselves. You can not control what is outside of yourself. Therefore, save this energy lost on fruitless pursuits, and take control of what you can, you, your consciousness, your awareness. I have just turned 50, and I was the perfect age of a young boy (78-79) when the bionic man, woman and dog were on television, it ignited my excitement and imagination to watch the screen magic of these now iconic shows. I wanted Jamie Somers to be my mother. Good to see her here looking dignified and ageing with grace. They both still look good.
